Hi! I'm Summer
Simply put —
From the time I was little I've been a creator. Drawing, painting, pottery, fashion- Creativity & the arts flow through my veins. Photography isn't just a job for me, it's the thing I LOVE to do. I savor capturing the authenticity of people & their unique stories. I'm a lover of life & of nature, a lover of people, & I simply love to bring out the beauty in things. I have acquired my BA in Fine Art & Photography and have been doing wedding photography since 2019. I'm based out of Idaho. Let's be friends!
My Mission Plan
These four objectives below are the greatest things I prioritize in providing for my clients:
"Quality"
Something that is most important for me as a professional photographer is providing QUALITY to my clients. Photography started out as a hobby for me, but I have invested a great deal of time in and out of school studying the arts, equipment, lighting, all types of photography, professional software, and all about people. I can confidently say that I can guarantee not only high-quality, professional photos, but a very high-quality experience as well.
"Timeless"
Over my years of taking photos and studying photography, I've made a goal to always keep my photos and editing style TIMELESS. I edit my photos in a way where I make the skin tones creamy, but also true to color. I keep it light, and I keep the colors neutral. I make a piece of art out of the memory-something that will always be beautiful and pleasing to the eye.
Secondly I have mastered the art of capturing AUTHENTIC moments. My goal is to capture the memory in a true-toned way. I do this by capturing the emotion that was there in those moments.
"Flow"
The way things FLOW before, during, and after your photo shoots are very important to me and probably for you as well. I want to make this process as easy and stress-free as possible. For booking, we first talk about what you want, pricing, and all expectations. I like to answer any questions you may have about outfits, colors, what to bring to your shoots/weddings, what looks most flattering, etc. I choose the location depending on what look you are going for. I also have a wedding guide for every bride. During the shoot I direct you through poses and prompts so there's no need to worry about being or feeling "awkward." After, I edit and upload the photos in a timely manner to an easy-to-use personalized online gallery.
"Comfy"
It is very crucial for me to help my clients feel COMFORTABLE. When you reach out to me about photo shoots, or I give you a follow on social media, or you comment on my post, or interact with my stories- boom! We are already immediate friends in my book. I want to get to know my clients, I want to laugh and have fun with you guys! When we can do that it allows me to capture that raw emotion and those happy moments that are so so important.
